REGISTRY-STYLE WEDDINGS
Want to get married without all the fuss or can't afford a large wedding? Maybe you're thinking of eloping. If you're after a budget wedding on the Gold Coast, this may be your solution.
Many couples these days are opting to get married in Government Registry offices. This type of ceremony is basic yet great if you're on a tight budget.
Helen now offers 'Registry-Style
Weddings' on the Gold Coast for the same price as the Government office but with a spectacular view! These ceremonies are simple, meaningful and affordable.
COST: $275.00
LOCATION: Laguna Park, Palm Beach, Gold Coast (subject to availability). The above photo shows the wedding rotunda which overlooks the lake, making it a perfect backdrop for your special day. The ceremony is undercover and there is seating for up to 30 guests. Being just a short 5-minute stroll to the famous Gold Coast beaches it really is an ideal location.
WHEN: Monday to Thursday from 10am to 2pm (Public holidays excluded.)
INCLUSIONS:
• Ceremony Pack which includes a selection of vows, readings, relevant ceremony information, etc. This will be emailed to you.
• Initial consultation to complete the necessary legal paperwork.
• Unlimited phone and email communications.
• Preparation of ceremony.
• Lodgement of all necessary legal documents before and after the ceremony.
• Ceremonial certificate.
• Copy of your ceremony in a bound folder.
• Supply of P.A. system and signing table.
REQUIREMENTS:
Before the day -
• You will need to book an appointment to complete the necessary ‘Notice of Intended Marriage’ form. Helen will help you complete this form and sight your proof of identity documents. Notices must be lodged a minimum of one month and one day prior to the date you wish to get married. For example, if you lodged the notice on 5 August, the earliest date you could get married would be 6 September.
• A $100.00 deposit will be required at this appointment to secure your date.
On the day -
• You will be required to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony to complete a 'Declaration' (Form 14).
• Two witnesses, who are over the age of 18, must be present at the ceremony and will be asked to sign the official certificates. You will need to provide these witnesses.
• You are more than welcome to bring your own music to play through the P.A. system. Either a CD or IPod can be used.
• The ceremony will go for about 10-15 minutes which includes signing of the official documents.
• Helen can help organise for a photographer to capture your special ceremony, too.
